Hospitality Investigation: Comprehensive Guide to Luxury Hotel Investigations

The First 60 Minutes Certification Course : Frontline Incident Readiness for Hospitality Teams
Recognize it early. Respond correctly. Protect your guests and your liability.
Service Description
The First 60 Minutes is a certification course that trains hotel staff to recognize the early warning signs of trafficking, assault, theft, and disturbances and to respond correctly from the moment a red flag appears. Built by a career detective and current luxury-hotel security director, it turns your front-of-house and back-of-house teams into a real first line of defense, while giving ownership a documented training record that limits liability when an incident occurs.
Cancellation Policy
Booking Policy : The First 60 Minutes 1. Scheduling & Reservations A date is not held on the calendar until a deposit is received. First confirmed, first reserved. Minimum lead time: 3 weeks for standard bookings. Requests inside that window are accommodated on a best-effort basis and may carry a rush fee. Group size: minimum 8, maximum 25 participants per session. Larger groups are split into multiple sessions. 2. Deposit & Payment A 50% non-refundable deposit is due at booking to reserve the date. The remaining balance is due 7 days before the session. Final headcount is confirmed 7 days prior for materials billing; if actual attendance exceeds the confirmed count, the higher number is billed. 3. Cancellation Policy 30+ days' notice: full refund of the balance paid; deposit is retained. 14–29 days' notice: 50% of the total session fee is retained. Fewer than 14 days' notice, or no-show: 100% of the total session fee is retained. Any travel or lodging already purchased on the client's behalf (flights, hotel) is non-refundable regardless of notice, unless a refundable fare/rate was specifically booked at the client's request. 4. Rescheduling Policy One complimentary reschedule is included with 14+ days' notice, subject to availability. Rescheduling with less than 14 days' notice is treated as a cancellation followed by a new booking, and the cancellation schedule above applies, unless the change is due to a documented emergency or event outside either party's control. A second or subsequent reschedule request carries a $500 rebooking fee. 5. Travel & Lodging Billed separately from the training fee, at actual cost or as a flat estimate agreed in the proposal. Travel is not booked until the deposit is received, to avoid non-refundable exposure before a date is confirmed. 6. Force Majeure In the event of severe weather, a declared emergency, or a property-side crisis that makes the session unsafe or impossible to hold, the session is rescheduled at no additional fee and the deposit carries forward to the new date. 7. Certification & Materials Certificates and printed materials are issued upon completion of the session and are non-transferable to a different individual or date.
